During last year’s nationwide action day, we planted nearly 100,000 trees at 300 locations, through a tremendous collective effort.

Hundreds of organizations, municipalities, institutions, and landowners participated with their own plantings and projects.

On the occasion of National Tree Planting Day – 2026, we hope to reach and surpass this incredible achievement.

We can only succeed with you!

Join in with your own project!

We are specifically thinking of projects here. We warmly welcome small tree plantings in private gardens at the planting celebration, but you can also upload those independently to the https://1fo1fa.hu/ tree registration page.

Get on the map for National Tree Planting Day – 2026! It’s still empty, but it will soon be populated with new projects. For example, yours 🙂

We chose the date of March 1 for the planting action day because it is still possible to organize late winter plantings with bare-root trees, and hopefully the ground will thaw enough to start spring plantings as well.

  • if you are a municipality planning a planting or green area development,
  • if you have a smaller or larger plot of land where you would like to create a forest, establish a protective forest strip, plant a grove, etc.,
  • if you are planning a Miyawaki planting,
  • if you are about to establish an orchard,
  • anything else that we haven’t thought of but you have 🙂

So if you have a tree project, include it in the National Tree Planting Day plantings!

If you fill out the form, one of our colleagues will soon contact you, ensure that the project is added to the map, the nemzetifaultetsnapja.hu website, and send you a communication package to help you report to the world that you are participating in the collective effort, complete with a personalized logo:

The 10 Million Trees community will, of course, also have its own plantings. We plan to:

  • distribute 40,000 seedlings at least in 40 locations across the country;
  • realize at least 17 winning planting projects thanks to our grant for NFN 2026;
  • establish a forest in Zala County;
  • organize more plantings with FŐKERT;
  • plant the largest Miyawaki project yet with contributions from private individuals and companies – and we could go on.
