Our mission
Many different people were moved by the founding post of the 10 Million Trees community for many different reasons, in July 2019, one of the hottest on record. What they shared was the hope that if we join forces and each plant at least one tree, we will not face the anxiety of the climate and biodiversity crisis in idleness.
About our team
10 Million Trees is the first nationwide civil tree-planting organisation. A unique initiative. We shape and grow together to meet our growing tasks. The cornerstone of our work is our expert team. Alongside its members, many people from different fields add their 10 Million Trees tasks to their existing commitments – and get hooked.
Our communities in Hungary
Across the country, thousands of volunteers work in 10 Million Trees community plantings in more than a hundred settlements every season. We are diverse, we have planted diverse trees in diverse ways. When we look at the map, we still form a grove that is steadily thickening into a rich, colourful forest.
