Reforestation in Mátyásföld: 1,500 Saplings
On December 9, we gathered in the meadow near the Mátyásföld Airport, and together with the District XVI Municipality, Microsec employees, and a bunch of cheerful volunteers, we planted about 1,500 forest saplings.
Primarily Turkey oak, pedunculate oak, wild pear, various maples, and blackthorn were planted. It was cold, of course, but at least it didn’t rain, unlike many of our recent plantings.
This was the second chapter of our two-hectare forest planting.
At the end, we felt once again that it was worth getting out of bed in the morning!
