Afforestation in Mátyásföld: 1500 seedlings

On 9 December, we showed up at the meadow near the Mátyásföld airport, and together with the Municipality of District XVI, the staff of Microsec and a lot of cheerful volunteers, we planted about 1500 saplings.
Mostly cherry oak, pedunculate oak, wild pear, all kinds of maple and stonecrop were planted. It was cold, sure, but at least it wasn’t raining like it has been on many of our plantings lately.
This was the second chapter of our two-acre forest planting.
We felt like we got out of bed in the morning for a reason at the end!
