Planted in Transylvania – Székelyderzs

After two days of work, on Sunday 17 March 2024, the community of 10 Million Trees completed the planting of the Szekler Forest in honour of 15 March 2024.

We planted 2250 trees in a beautiful setting during an active weekend.

We thank our host Land Art Association for their cooperation and the generous kindness of our friends from Transylvania.

After the work was finished, we visited Székelyderzs Unitarian fortress church of 14th century origin, stopping on the way home at Farkaslaka, the birthplace of Áron Tamási and the beautiful, unspoilt village of Énlaka.
