The autumn planting season has begun!

More information:

At the end of September, we had not yet completed the main event of the planting season, the Volunteer Water Donation program series, but as a kind of soft transition, on September 19, we planted 600 native tree saplings in the Farkas Forest (Budapest, District IV) together with 30 young employees from EPTA International Kft. and the Főkert.

The Főkert conducted professional preparations: the designated area was cleared of invasive species, and the areas of previous plantings were visibly marked—thus, there was no chance that attendees would accidentally trample on the already growing saplings. Moreover, some of the planting holes were even dug out!

Zoltán Bajor, head of the conservation and forestry management department at Főkert, ensured that not only enthusiasm but also professional oversight was present during this planting!

ANOTHER 1150 TREES!

However, we did not stop there: on September 26, we returned and planted another 1150 saplings with even greater enthusiasm!

Of course, we will continue the autumn plantings, and thanks to the preparations, by the end of October, the 38th Miyawaki Mini-Forest will also be born!
