SKY-HIGH WILLOW PLANTING – SEASON OPENING PICNIC

The photos from our events always reflect many enthusiastic eyes. We are proud of the strong, sympathetic, conscious, or even very instinctive energy that connects with us, along with numerous collaborations and cooperation.

But planting 10 million trees requires even more people, even more partners.
This occasion was also born from collaboration.

The Sky-High Willow planting is part of our now traditional cooperation with FŐKERT, and we already have several fruitful plans for the upcoming season, which we will share when the time comes.

Tree Planting Together

We want to bring together the original ten-million-tree supporters (now in our fifth year) with those who are just joining, whether a little or a lot. We welcome our existing supporters and future fans.
We are looking for new representatives for locations that are not yet part of the 10 million trees, enthusiastic volunteers to strengthen the existing 10 million tree representatives and groups, and those who can dedicate some time weekly to take on some of our many tasks. At our volunteer job fair, we are seeking reinforcements for our teams working in watering/maintenance, administration, finance, fundraising, logistics, etc., and we are also happy to expand our team of ecologists, foresters, and horticultural experts.

We would like to get to know each other so that we can learn from one another. And you can meet Lia Pokorny and Péter Geszti.

On September 30th, we are creating an opportunity with the planting of the Sky-High Willow to meet, talk, exchange ideas, or practical experiences on a calm weekend Saturday. The tree planting actually offers an opportunity for a picnic, where you can ask questions freely, and we can discuss the tasks ahead between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

Come in large numbers, and don’t leave the children and/or dogs at home.

We are preparing drinks and food for the picnic, but we gladly welcome if you bring some snacks with you. To help with the decision, there will be a small (quiche) competition at lunchtime.
