We planted 2,500 trees in Dombfalva.
WE PROMISED A RAINBOW FOR THE PLANTING
A few days ago, we invited our volunteers to Dombfalva with the promise that they should come to plant without fear of the heavenly blessing that was arriving, because although the National Tree Planting Day was a resounding success, we are not stopping; we are moving forward.
We report that this is indeed the case. We kept our word.
Moreover, by the end of the first, somewhat wetter, and more challenging day, the promised rainbow arrived! Not just an ordinary one, but we got a double rainbow right away.
2500 PLANTED TREE SEEDLINGS
By the evening of March 15, 2500 brand new bare-root and so-called tray-grown forest seedlings will be planted in the ground, so that in the coming decades, the eco-community of Dombfalva can serve the trees as native, mixed forest patches and orchards.
Their chances of survival are improved not only by precipitation but also by the wildlife fence, which was realized with considerable sacrifice.
It was a great fun, a male/female job.
And, as we said: the rainbow surprised us too! 🙂
