Looking for Space for 2 Million Trees

We are looking for space for 2 million trees 

For four years, since the 10 Million Trees community has existed, we have planted more and more each year.

Meanwhile, of course, we survived a terribly dry summer; and this year, a fundamentally rainy one.

In other words, we understand and know that the climate crisis is present, you can feel it too: extremes are becoming more frequent, and we have reached the critical one and a half degrees. We have no idea what exactly awaits humanity.

However, we know one thing: we must plant. Because planting is worthwhile under all circumstances.

🌳 We are looking for space for 2 MILLION TREES for the upcoming planting season! 🌳

Over the years, we’ve gotten the hang of it: we know how to plant well and nurture well, as in this climate zone we need to protect and care for our saplings for years. So we know how to plant well, and now we must plant a lot.

🌳 A few indispensable components are needed for tree planting

1.) people to plant
2.) saplings, and due to access to saplings, most often 
3.) money, but above all 
4.) land!

🌳 How much space does 2 million trees take up?

As a rule of thumb, we can accept that 250 hectares are sufficient. It’s not a small amount – but it’s not unimaginable either.

We are looking for space, locations, and opportunities where we can plant trees!

We know the chances are small that we will get 250 hectares at once, but even 2-3-4 hectares is a significant step forward!

In the 10 Million Trees, we are primarily eager to plant.

We also have the necessary expertise, implementation experience, and knowledge, and we can acquire saplings in sufficient numbers. We are working hard to ensure that financial resources are available when needed, but we do not have land. As a foundation, owning land is not possible and not our goal.
