745 trees planted in the Szépvölgyi forest

On December 13, we visited perhaps the most beautiful forest in Budapest.

– Thank you!

– We thank you!
– Thank you really!

At the end of the planting in the fabulously beautiful Szépvölgyi forest, the following conversation took place for a long goodbye.

THOSE IN CHARGE

were the Main Garden staff,
the dedicated volunteers
and the 10 million tree organizers.

HAPPY AUTUMN

It was a humid, humid, gut-wrenching weather,a Christmas gift-hunting silver Saturday, and a workday anyway. At the start of the event, the two of us stood alongside the many Mainland hardy with Misu and the 1000 trees we had prepared and, of course, mulled wine. I’m no expert in planting, but my mulled wine is said to be legendary 🙂.
Then the hard core arrived by BKV bus on Szépvölgyi road. Just for fun we have a team of volunteers, pictured there, who come rain or shine.
And they thank us at the end. One of them specifically said that he was driven by totally selfish reasons, he loves planting trees, he wouldn’t miss it.
And the guys from the FOREST GARDEN, not only are they professionally trained and pushing us all the way, but they talk about the trees and the forest we are visiting and planting with touching enthusiasm, they are kind and helpful.
They thank us too.

Of course we thank them for everything and everyone.

745 TREES HAVE BEEN PLANTED

With 745 trees successfully planted in their new home, the inexhaustible thermoses of mulled wine and tea have helped this small but all the more capable team to succeed.

A REAL THANK YOU!

Especially for the hope that these events inspire in us.

We now have 255 trees left, we will take care of them and continue after the holidays. Come and plant them!
